What you can do in your free time instead of pornography

No question, porn takes up a lot of time in our lives, if you manage to eliminate porn now – you have to use the newly gained time wisely. Many people make the mistake of not finding meaningful alternatives and then very quickly find their way back to porn and masturbating. That’s why I’d like to introduce you to my favorite activities now!

Because remember one thing, you are what you consume. If you watch 10 hours of TikTok Reels a day instead of porn, most likely not much will change in your life.

 

#1 Spend time in the fresh air and sunshine

I love my morning walk to get the first rays of sunshine in my eyes and breathe in the fresh air. It’s a wonderful source of vitamin D and even if the sun isn’t shining, it’s good for your body and brain. It’s a great mindfulness exercise to simply meditate in the forest, so if you have the opportunity to go to a forest or large park, do it!

For me, it’s the best way to start the day powerfully.

 

#2 Eat healthy and cook for yourself

You are what you eat, we all know that saying. But there really is something to it, I recommend that you eat a healthy and nutritious diet. Eat good meat, vegetables, fruit and healthy carbohydrates such as rice or potatoes. If you eat a healthy diet, your body will thank you with more energy. What we eat also has a lot to do with our psyche, and it’s also nice to take time to cook. When was the last time you took time to cook? So now you can use your newfound time to focus on your diet and get back into shape!

It’s time to take a closer look at your diet. Maybe that sweet cereal in the morning is just a bad start to the day for you and should be replaced with oatmeal, fresh fruit and nuts. Even small modifications to your diet can have a big impact, here based on the 80/20 principle.

 

#3 Have inspiring conversations with people who inspire you

When was the last time you had a simple conversation with someone? Surround yourself with people who bring you forward in life and distance yourself from people who make you feel bad after meeting them. You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.

I would really distance myself from people who always see the negative in everything and complain about everything. That rubs off on you. And if you want to take off with No Fap, for example, and your friends are always saying what bullshit that would be just because they don’t want to step out of their comfort zone, that’s the reason why you can’t do it.

 

#4 Read and then implement what you read

What you consume is you. We’ve just touched on this with nutrition, but the same applies to what you consume with your eyes throughout the day. Pick up a book on a topic that interests you.

#5 Being able to be bored sometimes

Just do things without your cell phone, go for a walk without listening to a podcast. Eat something without watching a movie. It will feel strange at first, but over time your brain will get used to it and it will be very good for your mental health.

 

#6 Sport

Sport is a fantastic mental balance for me. I love going to weight training and then relaxing my muscles in the sauna. I can only recommend doing sport on your own during the day. A weekend is a great time to do sport. You can also do team sports such as padel or beach volleyball.
